The Hunger Run is IFM's inaugural event to bring runners, family and friends together to support those struggling with food insecurity. All proceeds from the Hunger Run will support IFM's Holiday food distribution.
The run and walk will take place at the Nevada County Airport where everyone can enjoy Family Fitness & Fun, Static Display of Local Air Club Planes, Pancake Meal & Refreshments, Scavenger Hunt For the Kids, Raffle Prizes, and Awards For Top Runners.
IFM serves almost 8,000 Nevada County residents, 2,000 of whom are children, with 750+ volunteers who work to feed the hungry and reduce food insecurity.

Entry Fees
Event is rain or shine - sorry no refunds. 5K Run: $20 for persons 13+, $10 for children 12 & under. 4K Walk & Stroller Walk: $15/person 13+, $10 for under 12. Shirts guaranteed for entries received by September 11. Shirts may be available for sale on race day for $10. |
Awards and Prizes
Medals for first overall male and female in 5k run. Medals for first three age group finishers male & female in 5K run. Shirts for everyone Pancake meal & refreshments for all Children walkers 12 & under can enjoy the scavenger hunt Adult walkers get one raffle ticket. |
