Biodigester Project
Interfaith Food Ministry, Rough & Ready Grange, Waste Management, Nevada County, City of Grass Valley, BriarPatch Food Co-op, and Sierra Harvest are pleased to announce a collaborative effort to complete a pilot project around the use of a biodigester to convert organic materials (food "waste" and green "waste") into fuel and fertilizer and explore opportunities for replication all around the county at strategic locations.
We are working on forming a collaborative of agencies to move this project forward.
