Naloxone Now Available

WHAT?

During IFM's food distribution events held at 440 Henderson St. in Grass Valley, CA will now offer free Naloxone to anyone who asks for it.

Simply ask the checker volunteer inside the booth in the parking lot while you are making your food selections. They will note this down as an "ask for" item on your order and the volunteer filling your order will include a box of Naloxone.

WHY?

NEED AN EYE OPENING STATISTIC HERE - GET FROM TOBY

Naloxone is an opioid overdose reversal drug that saves lives and is an important tool in preventing overdose deaths. Every first aid kit should have one.

HOW?

This program is made possible through a grant partnership between Nevada County Public Health (NCPH) and IFM. Since IFM sees over 11,000 unique individuals per year coming through our food distribution events, we're a natural partner with the County to distribute free Naloxone. More information can be found here at the NCPH's Naloxone website.
